Concept Drawings

Teri's ideas always begin with pencil drawings. Renderings are highly detailed and establish lighting, mood, and storytelling. Sometimes the concept drawings stand as final drawings. Sometimes color is added or medium is changed for the final.

Many illustrated stories are based on Teri Kent's personal experiences, mixed with a wild imagination.

All of her "scary" drawings are impossible situations. She never draws scenes that promote or encourage violence. On the contrary, Kent strives to promote resilience and internal strength which is life's greatest defense.
